Happy (belated) Birthday !
Sorry this wasn't done on time...it only took me, what? Three weeks to make? I hope you enjoy it! ^_^

Tlaloc went to special lengths to celebrate Go Fish's 2nd birthday (& Rae's b-day too)! A double-layer (*snerk*) angel food cake...bound by his very own special god-power water-bonds!
(btw...he ate all the extra icing... Sugar high, anyone? XD)

100% digital from start to finish. I created and posed the figures in Poser to use as references for each panel. So basically, if it has skin--I had a reference. lol Everything else (clothes, hair, objects, etc) drawn without any hard references.

Premise/Background Info (for those unfamiliar with the Go Fish storyline):

Baxter (orange hair) & Tlaloc (broken-heart shirt) are pagan gods and friends. There are many gods in the Realm of the Divine and unfortunately for most of them, Baxter happens to eat other divine beings... By consuming them, he can obtain their abilities and appearance, but only if he sees a feature on them that he desires. His mouth will not appear otherwise. All deities are competing with one another for human believers but lately, their greatest foe is Christianity's god...who is intent on wiping all others out.

This is why Tlaloc and his servants, the tlaloques (the door opener, Geoffrey, and the cart pushers, Killian & Trent) have gleefully captured a pair of angels for their celebration. The only humans present here are Roger (the chubby grump in the grey shirt), Baxter's somewhat reluctant helper on Earth, and his best friend Alex (purple hair)--both of whom have presumably been dragged to this party against their wills.

See now? Doesn't that make you want to read Go Fish? ^_~
